New Delhi: Months after Lucknow’s viral girl Priyadarshini Narayan Yadav thrashed a cab driver in the middle of a busy road, a similar incident was caught on camera in the national capital on Wednesday.
A purported video of a woman beating a cabbie amid heavy traffic in Delhi’s Patel Nagar locality has gone viral on social media platforms. The viral video has received shocking and invoking condemnation from the social media users.

In the shocking video clip, a woman wearing a blue T-shirt is seen can be seen gripping the cab driver’s collar while repeatedly punching and slapping him. The incident took place in front of hoards of onlookers on the busy road. The woman refused to let the cab driver go as a man amongst the crowd protests against her actions while filming the incident from his mobile phone camera. As he warns her of police action, the woman gets even more furious and started yelling and abusing him before finally fleeing from the scene.

The incident is said to have happened last week at Block-22 on Kasturi Lal Anand Marg of West Patel Nagar.
“The police says that a case will be registered against the woman after receiving a complaint from the cab driver. The police is also trying to locate the woman using the registration plate of her scooty that is visible in the video”, DNA reported.
