New Delhi: In a shocking incident, an inebriated flier exposed his private parts & urinated on a female co-passenger seated in the business class of Air India’s New York to New Delhi flight, reports said.
The incident happened on November 26, 2022 and came to light only when the woman in her seventies wrote a letter to Tata Group chairman N Chandrasekaran.
The woman reported the disgusting behavior of drunk man to the cabin crew but they didn’t intervene, rather the offender was able to go scot free despite disgusting behavior in the business class of US-India flight.
A police complaint has been lodged and Air India has formed an internal committee, recommending putting the accused on ‘no fliers’ list.
The probe against him however started only after the plane landed in New Delhi. According to reports, the flight was on its way from JFK to New Delhi when the incident took place. The incident happened on AI-102.
According to complaint by the woman in her 70s, the incident happened on the New York-New Delhi flight when lights were switched off after lunch. The man in drunken state walked upto the female flyer sitting on aisle seat, unzipped his pants and then peed on her.
Despite such disgusting & filthy act, the drunk man didn’t move and stood there keeping him exposed to the woman. He only moved when other passengers told him to leave.

“My clothes, shoes and bag were soaked in urine. The stewardess followed me to the seat, verified that it smelled of urine and sprayed disinfectant on my bag and shoes…,” the woman said in the letter.
The female flier was allotted another seat only after 2 hours.
Meanwhile, Air India has said that it has been in touch with with the aggrieved passenger and is taking all required measures to ensure their safety & also get the guilty penalized & punished.
