New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi defamed India in his trips abroad. Congress MP said that PM Modi defamed India abroad. He said this while interacting with members of the Indian Journalists Association in London.

This comes after Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) accused him of maligning India abroad after losing elections in a row.

On Saturday, Rahul Gandi said that he recalls the moment when PM Modi said that nothing has been done in the 60 or 70 years of Independence.

Soon BJP retaliated on these allegations of Rahul Gandhi and said that Congress leaders are working from foreign soil to defame their country.

Meanwhile, a video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is doing rounds on social media, with a title that says that “PM Modi insults India”

In the video, it is claimed that PM Modi himself defamed his country on foreign soil.

The video is being shared by several social media users who are sharing the video and supporting Rahul Gandhi’s claim saying that those who are questioning his speech should listen to this speech of PM Modi.

What is the Truth of the video?

To defame PM Modi, a small part of the video was shared on social media to spread propaganda. If you listen to the full speech of PM Modi which he had given in Seoul in 2015 while addressing the  Indian Community.

In the video PM Modi can be heard saying “Eak samay tha jab log yaar…pata nahi pichle janam meinkya paap kiya tha, Hindustan mein paida hue…ea kai desh hai, ea koi sarkar hai, ea koi log hai. Chalo choro chale jaye kahin aur…aur log nikal padte the. Kuch varsho mein…”

Further PM Modi can be heard saying that no matter how much Indians earned abroad but they are now eager to return back to their country.

PM Modi was in Seoul for a two-day visit to strengthen India’s strategic ties with South Korea.
