Flipkart customer orders iPhone 12 but receives 2 bars of Nirma soap…. WATCH

Flipkart is undergoing its Big Billion Days sale. However a wrong delivery happened after a customer of the e-commerce company ordered iPhone 12.

New Delhi: Online shopping can be tricky especially during festive sales. During every festive season, e-commerce companies end up receiving millions of orders across India as they offer heavy discounts on their products.

However, often it happens that with huge discount comes chances of late deliveries, wrong deliveries or sometimes completely absurd deliveries. One such incident surfaced on the internet today.

Currently, Flipkart is undergoing its Big Billion Days sale. A customer named Simranpal Singh ordered an iPhone 12 which after registering a huge discount amounting to Rs 53,000. However, he was left in shock when he opened his delivered packet.

However, this was not the end. It took several attempts for Singh to make the customer service admit their mistake. Singh has opted for the option of Open Box Delivery. On opening the packet, he discovered two soap bars inside it.

Meanwhile, he did not accept the delivery and refused to share the OTP with the delivery partner. Singh immediately complained about the order to Flipkart customer care. Confusion continued as he received a call requesting for the OTP. He stated, “However, the behaviour of the logistics team troubled me more, as they called me again to get the OTP or Mobile Number after ‘failed’ delivery. It raised alarm and suspicion, which further led to 2-3 hours full of stress.”

After few more attempts, Flipkart finally cancelled his order and refunded the money back to him. Reportedly, the money was credited few days after the incident.
