New Delhi: The body of a 21-year-old student of Galgotias University was found in a drain near the institute in Greater Noida on Saturday, the police said.
The student has been identified as Yashashvi Raj, a 2nd year student of BSc Agriculture.
The family of Yashashvi Raj has alleged the five students killed him after a fight.
The police said that they are waiting for the post-mortem report as no visible injurymarks were found on the body
Accrding to the complaint filed by the family, the police said that Yashashvi Raj had gone out with two of his friends from university on October 12, and he never returned after that.
The body of Yashashvi was found after the Greater Noida police was informed that an unidentified body was lying in a drain some 500 meters from the university.
Later, the body was identified by the family, said Greater Noida police officer Vishal Pandey.
