New Delhi: On the occasion of Global hand wash day, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday (October 15) inaugurated a hashtag campaign about hygiene awareness on the occasion of Global Hand Wash Day.
He started a new hashtag, #HaathDhonaRokeyCorona (hand-washing will check the spread of corona) to fight against coronavirus.
“We all have realised the relevance of hand washing during #COVID19 pandemic, one can’t ignore it,” says Yogi Adityanath, CM, Uttar Pradesh.
कोरोना संक्रमण की श्रृंखला को तोड़ कर ही इस महामारी पर नियंत्रण पाया जा सकता है।
‘स्वच्छ हाथ’ कोरोना से बचाव का सबसे सहज माध्यम हैं।

Accordingly, State government officials and employees will wash their hands between 10 am and 12 noon while maintaining social distancing norms and wearing masks in a bid to drive home the message how to contain the Covid-19 pandemic.
The drill will also be carried out in hospitals, anganwadi, panchayati raj and other state government departments.
The UP government has urged the public to include the hashtag in their posts. They can also share the videos and photographs to the following email — [email protected]. The best videos and photographs would be rewarded, state government officials said.
