Greater Noida police arrests two men for performing car stunt outside girls’ hostel (VIDEO)

The Gautam Buddh Nagar police arrested two men for performing a dangerous stunt on a running car in front of a girls’ hostel in Greater Noida on July 23.

New Delhi: The Gautam Buddh Nagar police arrested two men for performing a dangerous stunt on a running car in front of a girls’ hostel in Greater Noida on July 23. They were arrested by the district’s Nollege Park police. The video of the incident, recorded at night, is also going viral on the internet.

It is reported that the action was taken after the police received the complaint about the incident through social media.

The viral video shows three people travelling in a car. Of which one was sitting on the bonnet of the car, while two others are standing on the doors.

Soon after the complaint, the police started the investigation. In the morning, the police arrested both men and seized two cars — Fortuner and Scorpio. The men have been identified as Prashant Kumal and Bhav Sagar. Police Commissionerate Gautam Buddh Nagar also shared the detail on Twitter and a photo.

According to the media reports, the case was registered under sections 147 (Punishment for rioting), 504 (International insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) and 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
