Gujarat CM approves 3 more preliminary Town Planning schemes

The CM has sanctioned a total of 36 TP schemes including 18 draft, 14 preliminary and 4 final Town Planning Schemes so far in year 2020. 

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani approved three more preliminary Town Planning schemes clarifying his commitment for the well planned urban development in the state.

Schemes sanctioned by CM includes Rajkot’s initial TP scheme No 26 (Mavdi), TP scheme No 106 of Ahmedabad East (Vastral Ramol) as well TP scheme No 64 of Ahmedabad West (Tragad).

With the approval of these three preliminary TPs, a total of 1 lakh 21 thousand 324 sq. m of land will be acquired by the authorities for the purpose of construction of affordable housing for poor. Accordingly, 59,060 sq. m of land will be available in TP scheme of Rajkot, 40,019 sq. m in Vastral-Ramol TP scheme of Ahmedabad and 22,245 sq. m in Tragad TP scheme for such construction.

The TP 26 is of approx. 125 hectares as a result of which 67 plots will be for public intrest as well for sale, the total area of this plots is 2,23,947 Sq. M. while 91,180 Sq. M. of land is to be acquired by the authorities for the purpose of sale.

VIJAY-RUPANI

Rupani has shown the transparency of the administration of Government led by him by approving 2 TP schemes of Ahmedabad in just one day.

The CM has sanctioned a total of 36 TP schemes including 18 draft, 14 preliminary and 4 final Town Planning Schemes so far in year 2020.

A total of 88,761 sq m of land will be allotted to the authorities for public facilities in the three TP schemes. According to TP-106 (Vastral-Ramol) of 125 hectares of Ahmedabad East, the authority will get a total of 54 plots of 2 lakh 48 thousand 405 sq.m. for public purpose and sale.

Suryashakti Yojana (SKY) for farmers

Land for gardening in these three TP schemes include 34,950 sq m in Rajkot (Mavdi), 53,295 sq m in Vastral-Ramol and 27,190 sq m in Tragad.

The CM has also urged the authorities as well as the Town Planning Officers to accelerate the implementation of the approved Preliminary TP.
