Gujarat CM launches ‘Janjati-Gujarat’ website for upliftment of forest dwellers

On the occasion of unveiling the website and e-pamphlet created by Janajati Kalyan Ashram through video conferencing, Mr. Rupani said that, government has distributed land ownership rights to more than one and a half lakh forest dwellers.

New Delhi: Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani today launched the “Janjati-Gujarat” website. He said that the government has used more than one lakh crore rupees for the development of tribal people through VanbandhuYojana.
Government is working for the overall development and upliftment of all the forest dwellers from Ambaji to Umargam.

On the occasion of unveiling the website and e-pamphlet created by Janajati Kalyan Ashram through video conferencing, Mr. Rupani said that, government has distributed land ownership rights to more than one and a half lakh forest dwellers.

Expressing his views, the Chief Minister said that in the past there was only politics regarding forest dwellers in Gujarat but no development works were done. After Mr. Narendra Modi became the Chief Minister of Gujarat, education, health, energy, roads etc. facilities were being provided to them who remained away from the mainstream of development. We have brought them to mainstream through the Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojana.

The Chief Minister said that the government is attentive and working to ensure that certain elements do not succeed in infiltrating the area of Vanbandhu.

On this occasion, Minister for National Organization of VanvasiKalyan Ashram Mr. Atul Jog, Co-worker of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Gujarat Province Mr. Shaileshbhai Patel and Trustee Shri SardarDham- VishwaUmiya Foundation Mr. Vinodb hai Patel were present.
