
New Delhi: New Year celebrations across the world have been the slate when people bid adieu to the past and open arms for the forthcoming future. However, this year, governments in most of the countries have imposed various curbs on the New Year celebrations owing to the current pandemic, dampening the festivities.
India amidst the recent spikes in Omicron cases, celebrated a low-key New Year 2022, while many states including the national capital Delhi have opted for night curfew.
