New Delhi: Dead body of Hemant Lohia DG Prisons Jammu and Kashmir was found under suspicious circumstances at his home on Monday, said police.
According to the Jammu and Kashmir police, first examination of the scene of crime reveals this as a suspected murder case.
The 1992 batch IPS officer, Hemant Lohia was found dead with his throat slit at his Udaiwala residence on the outskirts of Jammu.
Police also said that the domestic help with the officer is absconding.
A search haunt for him has started.

Meanwhile, the body has been sent for post-mortem.
