New Delhi: Weightlifter Mirabai Chanu brought glory to the country, by clinching a silver medal in the 49Kg catergory at Tokyo Olympics on Saturday. Chanu ended India’s 21-year wait for a weightlifting medal at the Olympics, she earned appraises from all over the country with PM along with others calling her an inspiration for every Indian.
Chanu’s fellow weightlifter Satish Sivlangam shared an example of that on the microblogging site Twitter on Monday. Sivalingam tweeted a video of his young daughter mimicking Mirabai’s silver medal lift.
“Junior @mirabai_chanu this s called the inspiration,” said Sivalingam in the tweet. Mirabai responded to the video saying, “So cute. Just love this.”
