The message by Home Minister was clear after two & half long meeting that the party brass & leadership must unite forces and put up a united fight against a resurgent Opposition while at the same time, propagating good works of Shivraj government.

The meeting of MP’s BJP unit top brass was called at a very short notice, reported the portal. Amit Shah was accompanied by BJP’s election ‘prabhari’ of Madhya Pradesh, Bhupendra Yadav, and co-incharge Ashwini Vaishnaw.

Shah reportedly said at the meeting that warring factions have to bury the hatchet and collectively work as cohesive unit for making the party stronger. Everyone must take active role in aggressive promotion of state govt’s public welfare policies and also their ‘actions will be under watch.’

Shah took note of some state leaders speaking in different voices and thus giving Opposition a chance to gain advantage. He is understood to have told top rung leadership of state to add ‘aggression’ in their campaign and reach out to maximum people.

Home Minister is also understood to have asked the top leaders to start ‘Vijay Sankalp Abhiyan’, a party’s outreach program that is taken up during elections. He also tasked state BJP chief VD Sharma and general secretary Hitanad with steering party’s campaign & promoting positive works of Shivraj government.

Further trying to give fillip to party’s campaign, he said that that he would personally monitor all the preparations and would also make ‘regular visits’ to the state.
