‘India stands with Israel’: PM Modi reiterates support, in phone call with Netanyahu

PM Modi thanked the Israeli counterpart for ‘update on ongoing situation’ and stated that people of India firmly stand with terror-hit nation in this difficult hour.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday spoke to Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu and reiterated India’s ‘unequivocal’ support in fight against terrorism.

Taking to X (formerly called Twitter), PM Modi informed that Benjamin Netanyahu dialed him today and apprised him of the current situation in Israel.

PM Modi thanked the Israeli counterpart for ‘update on ongoing situation’ and stated that people of India firmly stand with terror-hit nation in this difficult hour.

“India strongly and unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.” PM Modi said on X.

Notably, Israel has launched unprecedented assault on Gaza based Hamas terror hideouts and has vowed to teach them a lesion that ‘generations would remember’. Calling the dastardly terror attacks on its soil on October, it described the terror incident as its own ‘9/11’ and rejected all proposals of any truce till its forces annihilate the terror bases in Gaza strip.

India expressed solidarity with Israel

Days ago, as Hamas terrorists launched multi-front attack on Israeli nationals on last Saturday, PM Modi had condemned the terror attacks and expressed shock over terrorist attack.

He also said that India stands in solidarity with the people of Israel, in this difficult hour.
