Jharkhand: Accused Shah Rukh who set ablaze Class 12 girl stays remorseless after arrest (VIDEO)

BJP has launched blistering attack on the Hemant Soren government for remaining callous & ignorant about people’s plight and also claimed that it was the result of appeasement politics.

New Delhi: While Jharkhand faces political turmoil over ‘uncertainty’ on Hemant Soren’s future, the barbaric killing of a school girl has rocked the state.

The Class 12 girl lost her battle with life at Ranchi’s Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) on Sunday but what has infuriated the locals & the state is the brutality & bestiality with which the accused Shah Rukh killed her.

Today, he was arrested by the police but even in police custody, he remained remorseless. In the video, the accused shows no signs of guilt and rather looks clam & relaxed and also smirking while cops take him to van.

The gruesome incident happened in Dumka town in the wee hours. Accused Shah Rukh reportedly poured petrol on the girl from the window of her room where she was asleep and then set her on fire. According to reports, the accused is a construction worker and he was stalking the girl for sometime.

Soren government faces wrath, role of DSP questioned

BJP has launched blistering attack on the Hemant Soren government for remaining callous & ignorant about people’s plight and also claimed that it was the result of appeasement politics, practiced by JMM-Congress govt.

The incident comes at a time when Jharkhand CM took his MLAs for a picnic party and had a pleasant time while the state’s daughter faced a lonely battle to survive. Though, she was transferred to Ranchi RIMS but her injuries were too fatal.

DSP Noor Mustafa is also facing the heat of locals as they alleged that the senior police officer was ‘shielding’ the accused. They claimed that the DSP mentioned girl’s name in the FIR under adult category while she was a minor.

A group of Vishwa Hindu Parishad & Bajrang Dal activists staged protests at local chowk and also demanded justice for the victim.

Viswa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal activists staged a demonstration at Dudhani Chowk in Dumka town and submitted a memorandum to the sub-divisional police officer Vijay Kumar demanding justice for the victim.

Speaking on the matter, Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta has said that stringent action will be taken against the criminal and will be treated as rarest of rare case.
“The state government is serious regarding the murder of a girl in Dumka. Stringent action will be taken against the perpetrators, “ Gupta said.

Girl’s moving statement

TV reports said that the girl in her last moments said that her attacker must be given more harsh punishment than she went through.

Recording her statement before police, she reportedly told that the accused had called her on mobile about 10 days and begged to become his friend.

“He told me that he would kill me if I don’t talk to him. I told my father about this. My father was about to speak to his family next day. We went to sleep. In morning, I felt some pain on back and could smell something burning. I started screaming and ran to my parents. I also saw him running form the window. My parents doused the fire and took me to the hospital. ”
