What is the controversy all about?
The issue come into spotlight when Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared pictures from his Lakshadweep visit. Soon after he shared the pictures of his visit, Maldives Ministers criticized him using inappropriate language. The Prime Minister’s visit was a part of his visit to South India. He also travelled to Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

The Maldives Ministers have delete their tweets after witnessing backlash. The whole nation came in support of the Prime Minister and tweeted in his support.
