New Delhi: Amid the diplomatic flare-up between India and Canada over killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, another separatist leader Gurwant Singh Pannu on Wednesday issued a video threat to Hindu community living on foreign land.

Pannu, the chief of outlawed Khalistani outfit Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) asked the Canadian Hindus to leave the country soon or get ready to face dire consequences.

The blatant threat to Hindu community of Canada by banned outfit’s chief comes days after PM Justi Trudeau made an outrageous charge on Indian government claiming that Indian agents conspired to kill Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

Pannu residing on Canadian soil has time & again sought to fan Khalistani sentiments in India by his provocative comments/videos. In his latest video, Pannu calling for ‘genocide’ of Hindus in Canada and referendum for Khalistan has created huge uproar on social media.

Khalistan referendum on October 29

The SFJ chief claims that Sikhs are ‘true soldiers’ of the Canadian soil as they have upheld its Constitution and been loyal to its interests.

He called upon the Sikh community to aggregate in large numbers on October 29 in Vancouver to participate in the referendum on Khalistan.

The proposed ‘Kill India Referendum’ will elicit opinion of Canadian Sikhs on whether the Indian High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma was responsible for ‘assassination’ of fellow Sikh hardliner Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

For the unversed, Gurwant Singh Pannu is a Khalistani terrorist, wanted in India under UAPA.Hardeep Singh Nijjar, the head of Guru Nanak Sikh Gurudwara Sahib in Canada was yet another Khalistani separatist wanted in India.

He got killed in firing by two-bike borne assailants in Surrey on June 18, this year. Reports suggest that Pannu has gone into hiding for weeks now, after killing of Nijjar.
