
New Delhi: A day after MHA issued guidelines for Lockdown 4.0, the Punjab government has allowed relaxations under many categories, specially in public transport.
Night curfew, however, will be strictly implemented from 7 pm to 7 am across the state. Relaxations under many categories are only for non-containment zones.
‘Issuing the guidelines, the Punjab govt has allowed movement of auto rickshaw, cab aggregators, taxis and four wheelers. However, for taxis, four wheelers and cab aggregators, it shall be limited to one driver and two passengers.
For rickshaws and auto-rickshaws, one driver/puller and two passengers has been allowed.
In line with Centre’s guidelines, sports complex & stadiums have been allowed to open but without any spectator. Hotels, cinema halls and multiplexes will continue to remain closed.
Barber shops, saloon can open without over-crowding
Punjab has allowed barber shops and salons to reopen. However, they are expected to ensure social distancing and prevent over-crowding.
