Lockdown 4.0: What to open, what to remain closed till May 31

According to MHA guidelines, here is what will remain permitted and what will remain prohibited in the Lockdown 4.0 in place till May 31.

MHA issues order to further extend the lockdown for two weeks beyond May 4

New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) today issued fresh guidelines for the Lockdown 4.0 which will remain in place till May 31. According to the MHA guidelines, below is what will remain prohibited during this period.

What remains prohibited across the country

Domestic/international air travel of passengers

# Metro rail services

# Schools/colleges and other educational institutions, hotels/restaurants and other hospitality services except those housing emergency service workers or being used as quarantine facilities.

# All cinema halls, shopping malls, gymnasiums, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theatres, bars, auditoriums and other places will remain closed.

# All social, political, entertainment, academic, cultural, sports and religious functions/gatherings also stand prohibited.

# Places of worship are to remain closed for the public.

What remains open

# Sports complexes and stadiums have been allowed to reopen, spectators not allowed in any of these venues.

# Restaurants will be allowed to operate kitchens for home delivery of food items.

Status in containment zones

Inter-state movement of passenger vehicles and buses, with mutual consent of states
