Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi today addessed his 100th episode of his radio show “Mann Ki Baat”. His radio show was also special today as PM Modi today interacted with four individuals who earlier featured on the broadcast for their unique initiatives.

Vijayashanti Devi:
Manipur’s Vijayashanti Devi who makes clothes from lotus fibres. She is known for her unique and eco-friendly idea which was earlier discussed in ‘Mann Ki Baat’. Around 30 women work under her. Vijayashant’s aim for this yeat is to employ 70 more women. She said that she wants her product to reach across the globe.

Sunil Jaglan:
Sunil Jaglan, the man behind the ‘Selfie With Daughter’ campaign. He was the one who had launched the campaign from the village in June 2015. Jaglan also created a dedicated website for his initiative so that people could share selfies with their daughters.

Pradeep Sangwan:
Pradeep Sangwan, who runs the ‘Healing Himalayas’ campaign is known for collecting five tons of garbage on a daily basis with his team. The garbage is collected from different locations to keep the region clean.

Manzoor Ahmed:
PM Modi also mentioned about Manzoor Ahmed, who has a manufacturing unit of pencils in a Jammu and Kashmir’s village. He also provides jobs to over 200 people in Pulwama district. Now, the village, Oukhoo, is also known as the “pencil village of India”.
