Mission Rojgar: CM Yogi hands over appointment letters to 1438 Junior Engineers on Dhanteras

Yogi government has set a target of employing over 50 lakh youth in the state from November 2020 to March 2021. Through this campaign, Youth will get a chance to apply for jobs in government departments, councils, corporations.

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday distributed appointment letter to newly elected junior engineers of the Irrigation and Water Resources Department through video conferencing.

While speaking at the event, the Chief Minister congratulated the junior engineers on their achievement. Adityanath also asked the newly appointed junior engineers, “Did anyone approach you and ask for money or you need to ask anyone for favour?” Several junior engineers answered that they have not witnessed any of these situations and got selected at the positions on the basis of their merit.

The ’employment event’ was organised via video conference in Lucknow due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Finalising action plan of ‘Mission Rojgar’ along with other officials, Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari said, “Under Mission Rojgar, a programme will be organised to create more employment and self-employment jobs in various departments, organisations, voluntary organisations, corporations, councils, boards and various local bodies of the state government.”

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath also congratulated people on the occasion of Dhaneters. He urged state residents to celebrate the festival while paying heed to Covid-19 guidelines. The Chief Minister urged the residents to look after their and their family members health during this festive time.
