New Delhi: The Uttarakhand government is set to create a ‘Modi Circuit’ in the renowned Jim Corbett National Park, covering the various places that PM Modi and British survivalist Bear Grylls had travelled through during the shooting of a special episode of ‘Man Vs Wild’ in 2019.

The episode was shot under the initiative to promote a cause close to Modi and Grylls’ heart – conservation of nature and cleanliness.

PM Modi and Bear Grylls united at a rendezvous point and began their journey in the wild for a social cause. The duo had a candid conversation as they walked across the banks of the Kosi river, wherein replying to one of the questions from Grylls, Modi had said, “My position never goes to my head”.

Grylls and PM Modi talked about their childhood, love for nature, ambitions and dreams. Talking about India’s cultural heritage, Modi said that the country’s message to the entire world is Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, or the whole world is one family.

PM even went on to consume a drink made my Grylls out of neem leaves. When asked if he pinched himself after realizing that he was the Prime Minister of the world’s largest democracy, he replied, “It never occurs to me who I am. I am above all this. When I was a chief minister and even now as the prime minister, I only think of my work, my responsibilities”.
