New Delhi: Former Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Monday received an invite for the historic Pran Pratistha ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, slated for January 22.
A picture of an invitation to MSD for the consecration ceremony of Ram Temple surfaced on social media, in which cricketer could be seen receiving invitation from the Trust volunteers.

Notably, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has been sending invite to many celebrities across the spectrum including industrialists, businessmen, sportspersons, film personalities. As per official information, the Trust is handing out invitation to about 7,000 individuals, which include at least 3,000 VVIP celebrities for the consecration ceremony. The auspicious event will also see presence of scores of Hindu seers & sadhus.
Prior to Dhoni, cricketing icons Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli also received invitations for the consecration ceremony.

Notably, there is about a week’s time left for the historic Pran Pratistha ceremony in the holy city. On January 22, the Ram Lalla idol will be installed in the newly built temple complex while the town remains immersed in celebrations for the mega event.
Temple Trust today informed that the week-long event will begin in Ayodhya from tomorrow, ahead of the Pran Prattistha ceremony and will conclude with consecration cermemony. A day later, the temple will be open for common public from all across the country.
