Mumbai cop returns to duty after Covid recovery, gets hero’s welcome at police station (VIDEO)

New Delhi: Policemen across the country are doing a commendable job in the fight against Coronavirus. And, they must be admired and appreciated for their selfless service.

Bringing smile on the face is this video, where a police official is given a grand welcome when returns to duty after defeating Coronavirus. Pandurang Pawar, a Mumbai police personnel deployed at Kurla Police Station was welcomed with flower petals and claps by his colleagues.

The video has received many likes and views on the microblogging platform.

Coronavirus in Maharashtra

Meanwhile, the Coronavirus continues its sharp uptrend in Maharashtra with surge in numbers. Till now, the state has more than 70,000 Covid cases, almost equaling 1/3rd of the total cases in the country.

Currently, there are 37,543 active cases. While the virus has claimed the lives of more than 2,362 people, as many as 30,108 people have recovered.
