NaMo App seeks people’s opinion on issues like Covid-19 handling, Article 370, Ram Temple

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is seeking direct feedback of people in 5 poll-bound states on many issues that are likely to influence their choice of party & candidates in upcoming elections.

Narendra Modi App, in its survey, has asked people to share their opinion on issues like Govt’s handling of Covid-19, Article 370, Ram Temple and many more.

The survey is also encouraging people to judge govt’s performance on various metrics, as it asks whether people are content with the work in infrastructure, healthcare and employment generation sector.

With elections due in Uttar Pradesh, Ram Temple and Covid management has garnered enough attention of people. Therefore, the feedback of people may have a bearing on selection of candidates for the assembly elections, believe political analysts.

However, there are many issues, on which NaMo App wants your views. A total of 13 issues have been listed out where respondents been asked to share their views on issues like price rise, corruption, law and order situation, Triple Talaq law, education, employment, cleanliness, electricity, and roads and infrastructure.

Under the ‘Share Your Opinion’, people’s feedback is being sought on what will weighing on their minds while they vote — “PM Narendra Modi’s leadership in the country, or state level issues or local issues.”

States of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa, Manipur and Punjab are going to polls next year. BJP currently rules 4 out of these 5 states.

Not the first time, NaMo App sought feedback

This is not the first incident. Earlier also, the PM Modi undertook similar surveys on the NaMo App on demonetisation after it announced that Rs 1,000 notes will cease to be a legal tender.
