New Delhi: As the nation grapples with Coronavirus spread, Congress continues to target Modi government alleging its inability and inefficiency in handling the Covid-19 crisis. Launching ‘Speak Up India’ campaign on the social media, Congress party shared a video criticizing PM Narendra Modi for his ‘apathy’ towards the problems faced by migrant workers across the country amid lockdown.

Taking to Twitter, Congress shared a video with the caption- “Behri hai sarkaar, aao uss tak aawaj pahuchaye! Ho kar ekjut, usse Hind ki takat dhiklaye!”

In this video, Congress shared a picture of PM Modi with the caption, “Aisho aaram ke zindagi me mast hai”.

However, the picture shown in the video is from April 2016, in which PM Modi is giving his measurements for his wax statue for the Madame Tussauds wax museum, which includes noting the eye colour, hair texture and skin complexion, so as to meticulously replicate wax statue.

The video soon went viral and netizens didn’t take much time in slamming the grand old party for stopping too low in slamming the government and Prime Minister. Many called it a ‘false propaganda campaign’ against PM Modi.
