New Delhi: At a time when the whole country is abiding by lockdown norms, staying inside their houses to keep Corona at bay, the brazen violation of rules by the powerful Gowdas in Karnataka is absolutely shocking.
The event was marriage ceremony of former Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy’s son Nikhil where more than 100 guests turned up for the function. Neither the hosts nor the guests followed the rules of lockdown, rather they mocked the law by ignoring social distancing norms and showing up without masks.

Karnataka’s Deputy Chief Minister Ashwath Narayan had said on Thursday that action will be taken against Kumaraswamy “without a second thought” if guidelines are not followed during his son Nikhil’s wedding.
However, when it comes to punishing the mighty & powerful, the law enforcing agencies develop cold feet. But, when it’s about common people, they are immediately made to pay for the wrongdoings or negligence.
