Oath-taking ceremony of Bihar CM, Deputy CM tomorrow: RJD on Twitter

New Delhi: Lalu Prasad Yadav-led Rashtriya Janata Dal announced on Twitter that the oath-taking ceremony for the Bihar CM and Deputy CM will be held on August 10. The oath-taking ceremony will take place in Rajbhavan of Bihar in the afternoon at 2 PM. However, who will take oath as the CM and Deputy CM, it was not mentioned in the tweet.

The media reports suggest Nitish Kumar world swore in as the Chief Minister while RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav will become his deputy.

Taking to reporters, RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav, elder son of Lalu Yadav, said, ”We are now in power…Bihar will get employment….I will accept what I will be offered.”

Earlier in the day, Nitish Kumar said that he was the CM of Bihar. ”Now, I have given my resignation from the post of the CM,” added Nitish Kumar.

Bihar Assembly

At Present, RJD has 79 MLAs in the Bihar Assembly followed by BJP (77), JD(U) (45), and Congress (19). As of now, Nitish Kumar’s party decided to BJP-led NDA to form a new government with RJD.

In the 245-member assembly, RJD and JD(U) will enjoy the majority and easily cross the majority mark of 123 seats. With them, INC is also in the alliance.
