“Only Bodies Will Return”: Sanjay Raut’s insulting remark on rebel Sena MLAs

When a party worker reacted to Raut’s initial statement saying, “No sir, we will directly immerse their ashes”…

New Delhi: In the era of degrading standards of politics in country, yet another shameful remark by Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut is the latest addition.

Amidst the political turmoil in Maharashtra politics, Raut while taking an objectionable jibe on Sena’s rebel MLAs has threatened, “40 bodies will arrive from Guwahati and they will be directly sent for post-mortem”.

Raut was speaking at ‘Shiv Sena Melava’ (Shiv Sena gathering) at Dahisar in Mumbai on Sunday.

If this wasn’t enough, Raut made further disturbing remarks about Eknath Shinde-led rebel group. When a party worker reacted to Raut’s initial statement saying, “No sir, we will directly immerse their ashes”, he replied – “Yes, we will send them to Chatt Pooja”.

On Raut’s insulting reply, the party workers burst into laughter.

Watch:

Earlier in the day, Raut had challenged the rebel MLAs while talking to the media, asking them to resign and seek a fresh mandate from their electorate.

“Chhagan Bhujbal, Narayan Rane and their supporters had resigned as Shiv Sena MLAs in order to join other parties. Even former Congressmen Jyotiraditya Scindia and his supporters in Madhya Pradesh had resigned as in March 2020 to hop with BJP”, he stated.

Apart from Raut, Maharashtra minister Aaditya Thackeray too dared the Rebel MLAs on Sunday to ‘defect and fight’ if they think that Shiv Sena chief is wrong.

Aaditya Thackeray

“If you have guts, leave Shiv Sena – defect and fight. If you think what we have done is wrong, Uddhav (Thackeray) ji’s leadership is wrong and we all are wrong, then resign and face elections. We are ready”, he said.
