New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind inaugurated the world’s largest stadium in Motera, Ahmedabad on Wednesday. Initially named Motera Stadium, it was renamed as Narendra Modi stadium.
As the news broke about the rechristening of stadium, Congress supporters and liberals took strong objection to it and started spreading falsehoods.
Launching attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress spokesperson said such act shows his ‘narcissism and arrogance’ while Gujarat Congress working president Hardik Patel called the move an insult to Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel.

Tables turned on Congress
Blame game and verbal spat erupted on Twitter, soon after renaming of the stadium, with many BJP supporters justifying the move. They claimed that not 1 but many airports, roads and projects are named after Nehru Gandhi family and this naming of stadium after PM Modi is rightly deserved.
Times Now senior editor Megha Prasad put forth details of stadiums, sports tournaments and trophies named after Nehru Gandhi family. This revelation of details puts Congress on the backseat and it is scrambling to find defence for it.
