West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said, “Worse fate than former US President Donald Trump awaits PM Narendra Modi:”

New Delhi: West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday attacked PM Modi while addressing a rally in Hoogly.

She said, “PM Narendra Modi biggest ‘dangabaaz’ (rioter) in the country”.

This comes a day after CBI visited the house of her nephew Abhishek Banerjee’s to question to his wife Rujira in an alleged coal scam.

She said, CBI interrogation of TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee’s wife is insult to our women.

Mamata also said, “Worse fate than former US President Donald Trump awaits PM Narendra Modi” amid the ongoing tussle between BJP and TMC as elections for the West Bengal Assembly will be held this year. Mamata also criticised the CBI questioning by saying,” CBI interrogation of TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee’s wife insult to our women.”

Mamata Banerjee seemed very confident for the upcoming elections as she said, “I will be the goalkeeper in assembly polls and BJP will not be able to score a single goal.”

Coal Scam

Yesterday CBI arrived at Abhishek Banerjee’s house for questioning his wife Rujira in an alleged coal scam in Eastern Coalfield Ltd. The questioning went on for 90 minutes. CM Banerjee left Abhishek’s house just five minutes before the arrival of CBI team.

CBI also questioned Abhishek’s sister-in-law Menaka Gambhir on Monday in the same probe.

EC orders re-polling

Election Commission will decide the schedule of elections in four states and one union territory today. The four states are West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The UT where polling will take place is Puducherry.
