PM Modi tears into I.N.D.I.A., says ‘Ghamandiya Gathbandhan wants to destroy Sanatan Dharma’

PM Modi’s sharp rejoinder to rival parties comes on back of latter’s repeated disparaging & insulting remarks against Sanatan Dharma.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday launched a blistering attack on the I.N.D.I.A. alliance over latter’s repeated insult of the Sanatan Dharma.

Taking a sharp jibe at Congress-led political bloc, PM Modi termed it ‘Ghamandiya Gathbandhan’ and said that it harbored a desire to destroy Sanatan Dharma.

PM Modi’s sharp rejoinder to rival parties comes on back of latter’s repeated disparaging & insulting remarks against Sanatan Dharma.

The controversy first erupted over Tamil Nadu minister & CM MK Stalin’s son Udayanidhi Stalin’s outrageous remarks on the Sanatan Dharma. Uday Stalin had compared Sanatan Dharma to dengue & malaria and had called for its complete ‘eradication’ from society.

Addressing a public gathering in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar district, PM Modi said that INDIA alliance had a hidden agenda to attack India’s culture & roots but they won’t succeed in their ‘nefarious’ designs.

“A few groups are working to divide the country and society… They have come together to form an INDI alliance. They have also decided on a hidden agenda to attack India’s culture. The INDI alliance has come with a resolution to end ‘Sanatan’ culture,” he said.

PM Modi also urged people to stay alert or else they may get ‘befooled’ by INDIA’s propaganda.

“Today they have openly started targeting Sanatana, tomorrow they will increase the attacks on us. All ‘Sanatanis’ across the country and the people who love our country will have to be alert. We will have to stop such people…”, he said.

How DMK leaders added fuel to fire

A Raja was the second leader after Udaynidhi Stalin to slam Sanatan Dharma. He compared it to ‘leprosy & HIV’ and a day later even went to slander Hinduism, claiming that “it was not just a menace for the country for the world”.

With top DMK leaders casting aspersions on Hinduism & Sanatan Dharma, it drew strong reactions from BJP leaders. The saffron leaders accused the Opposition of suffering from deep-rooted ‘Hinduphobia’.
