New Delhi: Pramukh Swamy Maharaj Shatabadi Vandana Samaraoh was organized in the Akshardham Temple on Sunday evening. The veneration ceremony saw huge turnout of devotees who came from several parts of the country. Notably, many devotees also descended to the city from foreign counties including America, England and Australia.
The Vandana Samaroh started with Manglacharan at 5.30 PM on Sunday evening. The seers at Akshardham temple remembered Pramukh Swami Maharaj on the occasion and reinstated the importance of his ideals & values in calming down the agitated minds of modern times.
Sadguru Pujya Vivekasagar said that Dr Abdul Kalam was in awe of Param Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj because of latter’s beliefs, teachings and the work he did towards human welfare. He also unveiled a book named ‘Trasncendence’, which has collections of articles written on Pramukh Swami ji by former President Dr APJ Kalam.
Then, a group of children & students set the mood for evening as they put together a beautiful performance on Shatabdi Vandana. Their mesmerizing dance show won the hearts of audience.
Towards the end, an elaborate Aarti ceremony was organized in which several hundred devotees took part and sang hymns in honour of the Almighty God.
Since yesterday, the Akshardham Temple has been illuminated with plethora of bright lights and its grandeur & splendor is truly visible now.
