Rahul Gandhi wears turban to offer prayer at Gurudwara; Twitter abuzz with funny messages

On Monday evening, the Yatra entered Maharashtra after crossing five states — Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana. 

New Delhi: As soon as the photos of Rahul Gandhi wearing a turban came on Twitter, netizens started making fun of him on the social media platform. Notably, Gandhi was in Degloor city of the Nanded district of Maharashtra. Before resuming his Bharat Jodo Yatra, the Congress leader offered prayer at Gurudwara Baba Zorawar Singh Ji Baba Fateh Ji Singh in Nanded.

Rahul also tweeted about his visit to the Gurudwara in Hindi and greeted everyone on Guruparwab. However, Rahul himself did not share his photo in a turban.

The Bharat Jodo Yatra started in Tamil Nadu’s Kanyakumari on September 7. Meanwhile, it will cover a 3,750-km distance before ending in Jammu and Kashmir. On Monday evening, the Yatra entered Maharashtra after crossing five states — Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana.
