New Delhi: A video showing a dog chained to a car being dragged around in Jodhpur went viral on social media following which a case has been registered against the driver, Dr. Rajneesh Galwa.
A show cause notice has also been issued against him.
Also, Police has seized the doctor’s car and started an investigation.
After the video has gone viral on social media, it has stirred anger among the users. They also demanded strict punishment against the man for animal cruelty.
The incident was captured in a broad daylight on a busy road in Jodhpur. The video was shot by passengers in another vehicle that was following the car.
In the video which has gone viral shows, a man driving a car with a dog tied to it by the leash. Also, the dog could be seen swinging from one side to the other as it struggled to run with the car’s speed. Also, a piece of cloth can be seen tied around its mouth.
After which a man on a motorcycle can be seen forcing the car driver to stop the vehicle.
The Dog Home Foundation in its tweet said that the dog legs have multiple fracture. Also demanded to take strict action against him and to cancel his licence.
