Nripendra Mishra said that the pilgrims & devotees can start visiting the grand complex from January 24-25 as the temple premises will be open for public after the Pran Prathistha event.

New Delhi: While the grand Ram Temple takes final shape and gets ready to open its doors for devotees from end part of the year, people are curious to know as to when they can start visiting the holy city for the darshan of Ram Lalla.

Amidst reports of temple doors opening for pilgrims & Rambhakts in January 24, Nripendra Mishra, the chairman of construction committee of Ram Janmabhoomi today revealed the dates for ‘Pran Pratistha’.

Speaking to a news channel, Nripendra Mishra said, “Pran Patishtha of the Ram temple is likely to happen between January 15 to January 24.”

He said that the Trust has also sent an invitation to Prime Minister and sought his attendance for the special occasion.

After the Pran Prathistha, the grand Ram mandir will be open for devotees & pilgrims.

Further, giving an account of embellishments on temple structures, he said that the main gate of sanctum sanctorum will be made of gold. The 161 feet long ‘shikhar’ of the temple will also be gold-plated.

Devotees can visit temple from January 24-25

Nripendra Mishra said that the pilgrims & devotees can start visiting the grand complex from January 24-25 as the temple premises will be open for public after the Pran Prathistha event.

He said that the Trust is making arrangements for webcast of Pran Prathistha, so that lakhs of Rambhakts can watch it on their cellphone & laptops, not just in India but also abroad and thus become a part of the momentous occasion.

This comes as first sort of confirmation of the dates when the temple portals will open for public.

Earlier, Champat Rai, General secretary of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Khestra had said that the Ram Lalla will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple on pious occasion of Makar Sakranti i.e. 14th January 2024.
