Rishabh Pant Hospitalised: “Accident happened because he fell asleep,” says SK Singh, SP Rural, Haridwar

New Delhi: SK Singh, SP Rural, Haridwar today said that cricket Rishabh Pant’s car met with an accident after he fell asleep 1km ahead of Narsan towards Roorkee.

He was driving the car and was travelling alone when the incident took place.

The accident is said to have taken place at around 5.30 am. Soon the police reached the accident site and the player was rushed to Saksham Hospital in Roorkee where preliminary treatment was given.

He is currently under going treatment in Dehradun’s Max Hospital.

Rishabh was travelling to Roorkee to meet his relatives in his Mercedes-AMG.

In the accident, Rishab’s car was completely destroyed and burned down by the fire that occurred as an aftermath of the incident.
