New Delhi: A video of four Muslim men offering namaz inside the sleeper coach of a train has created stir on social media. The video was reportedly shot by former Uttar Pradesh MLA Deeplal Bharti.
This reportedly happened at Khadda railway station in Khushinagar, when the Satyagraha Express (Train No 15273) was halted for sometime. The train was going from Khadda to Kaptanganj when a group of 4 people started offering namaz in the alley of sleeper coach.
As Muslim men sat & blocked the middle area of coach, it blocked the common path causing inconvenience to fellow passengers. It was at the same time when former BJP MLA boarded the train and saw the inconvenience faced by passengers.
“I made the video. They offered namaz in a sleeper coach. It caused inconvenience as other passengers were not able to enter or exit the train. How can they offer namaz in public places? It was wrong,” Deeplal Bharti said on the incident.
In the video also, one person can also be seen asking passengers to stop until prayers are done. Deeplal also said that some people blocked others on both sides of the coach from entering or exiting the area.
The former MLA has filed complaint with the Indian Railways against these men for causing inconvenience to fellow passengers and has called for action.
