Tendulkar to Gavaskar to Kapil, veteran cricketers pay obeisance at Kashi temple (VIDEO)

These cricketers are set to attend the stone laying ceremony of an international cricket stadium in Varanasi, which is likely to get ready by 2025. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to lay the foundation stone of this stadium at around 1.30 PM today.

New Delhi: The temple town of Kashi saw the convergence of Indian cricketers veterans on Saturday, as the city gets ready for ground-breaking ceremony of an international cricket stadium.

From the likes of Sachin Tendulkar to Gavaskar to Kapil Dev to Ravi Shashtri, many veterans of the Indian cricket visited the Kashi Vishwanath temple today and paid obeisance to Lord Shiva.

The Master Blaster arrived in the city early today and was seen worshipping the Lord Shiva at Kashi Vishwanath temple. The visuals also showed Sunil Gavaskar, Dilip Vengsakar offering prayers to the Lord Shiva.

These cricketers are set to attend the stone laying ceremony of an international cricket stadium in Varanasi, which is likely to get ready by 2025. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to lay the foundation stone of this stadium at around 1.30 PM today.

The function will be attended by many cricketing legends and will also be attended by Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) President Roger Binny, Vice-President Rajiv Shukla, General Secretary Jay Shah.
