Traces of RDX found at blast site near PM Modi’s rally venue in Jammu, was it a terror plot?

The fresh revelation only goes on to give credence to the sabotage theory that cross-border conspiracy was in the works to foil Prime Minister’s rally in the province.

New Delhi: Days after PM Modi’s rally in Jammu & Kashmir, it has come to light that traces of RDX were found from the explosion site, which occurred just few kilometres away from the rally venue.

The explosion took place at Jammu’s Laliana village, located just 12 kms from the PM Modi’s rally venue in Jammu.

While PM Modi was to address the rally in evening, the blast occurred in the morning. Police initially called it a lightning or meteorite impact but the discovery of RDX from blast site calls for deeper probe into the wicked designs of terror-mongers.

According to a TV channel, the explosive material was reportedly carried by a drone and was dropped at some distance from the venue to create panic.

The fresh revelation only goes on to give credence to the sabotage theory that cross-border conspiracy was in the works to foil Prime Minister’s rally in the province. J&K DGP had clearly hinted that plot was being hatched by those sitting across the border to foment trouble ahead of PM’s visit to the state.

PM Modi had visited the state on Sunday. In Palli Panchayat of Samba district, he addressed the Gram Sabhas across the country to mark the National Panchayati Raj Day.
