Doubling Covid beds, oxygen plants & medicines availability: CM Yogi’s elaborate plan to fight pandemic

It is satisfying that our villages have been safeguarded from corona infection. In villages that are corona-free, activities should be started under MNREGA. Respected Prime Minister, in view of the importance of water conservation, has launched the”Catch the Rain” campaign. Extending it as a public campaign, special efforts should be made in this direction in the villages. Plantation should be done on the side of the expressway.

There is a need to make a planned effort to completely eliminate the activities of illicit liquor. Every district should be monitored. The strictest action should be taken against those involved in this act. The ongoing campaign against spurious liquor should be intensified. The District Magistrate and the district police chief themselves should take charge. Go to the field, make a surprise visit to the shops. If you find a mistake, take action. All arrangements have been made for the proper treatment of black fungus patients. The supply of Amphotericin-B injection, which is considered useful in its treatment, is being made smooth. Experts have also given the option of two more medicines, their availability should be ensured as soon as possible.

The establishment of PICU and NICU in all medical colleges should be completed expeditiously. PICUs of 100 beds each are to be set up in all medical colleges. It should also have a 50 bed NICU. Under no circumstances should there be any violation of the Covid protocol anywhere.

Oxygen supply has become normal for patients amidst improving conditions with continuous efforts. In the last 24-hours, 378 metric tonnes of oxygen were supplied. It should be ensured that the use of oxygen anywhere is as per the standard. At present, there is sufficient availability of oxygen in all the districts. Provide all possible help in meeting the oxygen needs of the industrial units. More than 400 oxygen plants are under construction in the state through various means, out of which 72 plants have become functional, efforts should be made to make the remaining functional at the earliest.
