New Delhi: In the latest development, the Uttar Pradesh government discharged the DGP Mukul Goyal from his post on Wednesday. The decision was taken due to his disinterest in his job. He has now been allotted the civil defence department.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself has taken the decision in the wake of rising crimes in the state and Goel’s negligence in government work. He is a 1987 batch IPS officer.
