New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a man who was well known in his village for catching snakes, died after he was bitten by a poisonous snake following its rescue in Uttar Pradesh’s Shahjahanpur.
The victim has been identified as Devendra Mishra. According to reports, the man had caught the snake from a neighbour’s house in his village amd went roaming around the village with the snake wrapped around his neck.
It is being said that the snake was highly venomous.
In the video that is now going viral on social media shows how the man had catch the snake with the help of a stick. Also, he can be seen putting the snake around the neck of a girl child.
Misha was however was bitten by the snake nearly two hours after he caught it.
The villagers said that after being bitten by the snake, he had tried to treat it with various herbs instead of going to the hospital.
However, he died at his home a few hours later, said the villagers.
