Uttar Pradesh: Urban Development Minister AK Sharma takes stock of flood-affected areas in Azamgarh district, distributes relief materials

AK Sharma visited flood affected area of Dam-Mahula village of Sagadi tehsil of Azamgarh district. He also met the affected people and public representatives.

New Delhi: Urban Development Minister AK Sharma, on Sunday visited the flood affected areas in Uttar Pradesh’s Azamgarh district and inspected the are. He also distributed relief material to the people affected by the floods.

Minister AK Sharma said that arrangements will be made from the flood relief fund for people whose houses have collapsed or got damaged in the flood affected area.

His visit comes days after Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath chaired a high-level meeting in the wake of widespread rainfall in the state. CM Yogi had directed his ministers to oversee relief and rescue operations in the districts under their charge.

During his visit, AK Sharma in a series of tweet said that this is an opportunity to help the people and the administration.

“We pray you to help the affected people,” he Tweeted in Hindi.

AK Sharma visited flood affected area of Dam-Mahula village of Sagadi tehsil of Azamgarh district. He also met the affected people and public representatives.

He said the administration is fully active and dedicated to public service in this difficult situation.

He also distributed flood affected relief material in Azamgarh’s Dam-Mahula village.

He also inspected several areas and instructed the Officials to look into the concerned matter.

Yogi Adityanath  has ordered to do everything possible to help the flood victims in the Yogi government, from officials to ministers.

Currently, the entire Uttar Pradesh government is deployed in the flood affected areas to help the flood victims.
