Apart from gaining immunity from the SARS-CoV-2 virus, taking a vaccination shot can earn you exciting rewards as per the new initiative taken by Smart City Dehradun.
R Rajesh Kumar, Dehradun DM, and CEO Dehradun Smart City Ltd stated, “We are launching a mega vaccination drive in coordination with Smart City. Almost 100% adult population received their first dose in the district. Around 50% eligible population have been vaccinated with the 2nd dose.”
People who’ll take 2nd dose during the period of Oct 18 to Nov 2, will be eligible to get various prizes via lucky draw. Prizes will be Electric scooter, refrigerator, TV, smart phones, etc. We’ve opened walk-in vaccination centres at Paltan Bazaar & Pacific mall: Dehradun DM

Besides, people taking the second dose of the vaccine have the opportunity to earn several prizes such as electric scooters, smartphones among others.
“People who take the 2nd dose during the period of October 18 to November 2 will be eligible to get various prizes via a lucky draw. Prizes will be electric scooter, refrigerator, TV, smart phones, etc. We have opened walk-in vaccination centres at Paltan Bazaar and Pacific mall,” said the Dehradun DM.
Earlier, the Uttarakhand government has already extended Covid-19 induced restrictions till October 19 concerning the third wave of the pandemic.
Wedding halls have been allowed to hold ceremonies with 50% capacity. However, strict protocols need to be followed besides taking permission from the district administration. All the guests at the ceremony should carry a negative RT-PCR report.
