New Delhi: Sasural Simar Ka fame television actress Vaishali Takkar was found dead at her residence in Indore, Madhya Pradesh on Sunday morning.
M Rahman, Indore Assistant Commissioner of Police told that a suicide note has been recovered from her place which suggests she was stressed and was being harassed by her ex boyfriend, reported news agency ANI.
Takkar was staying in Indore with her brother and farther, who said that they had no clue that she would take such an extreme step.
She made her acting debut with 2015 daily soap ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ and was later featured in much controversial reality TV show Bigg Boss.
Takkar was also recently seen in Akshay Kumar starrer comedy-drama ‘Rakshabandhan’ opposite Nishant Malkani.
Originally hailing from Ujjain, Takkar had moved to Mumbai to test her luck in the film industry.
The police informed that she did not come out of her room on Sunday morning, after which her father went to look for her and found her hanging from the ceiling fan.
Cops recovered the body, which was later sent to the nearby Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital for post-mortem.
The police have already initiated the probe, while her mobile phone and the statement of family members have already been recorded.
