New Delhi: Mukesh Ambani, the chairman & Managing Director of Reliance Industries (RIL) addressed the attendees at Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024 on Wednesday and spoke at length about India’s massive growth potential, transformation of Gujarat as ‘face of New India’ and also showered praise on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
Mukesh Ambani credited the Prime Minister for shaping the global image of Gujarat and also attributed the Virbant Gujarat Global Summit’s 20 year success to his vision & consistency.
He showered effusive praise on PM Modi during his address and also described himself as ‘proud Gujarati’, drawing cheers from the audience.
Mukesh Ambani said, “I have come from the city of the Gateway of India to the gateway of modern India’s growth – Gujarat. I am a proud Gujarati…When foreigners think of a new India, they think of a new Gujarat. How did this transformation happen? Because of one leader, who has emerged as the greatest global leader of our times – PM Modi, the most successful PM in India’s history.”

Earlier, the ‘Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit’ commenced at Gandhinagar’s Mahatma Mandir, in presence of hundreds of world’s biggest business houses & their leaders. The summit, themed ‘Gateway to the Future,’ is celebrating 20 Years of Vibrant Gujarat as the Summit of Success.
Ambani sees Gujarat as $ 3 trillion & India $ 35 trillion economy by 2047
Further speaking about India’s growth story waiting to unfold, Mukesh Ambani said, “India was on the path to become a 35 Trillion Dollar economy by 2047.”
“The coming generations will indeed be thankful to Prime Minister Modi for being both a nationalist and an internationalist. You have laid a solid foundation for ‘Vikasit Bharat’ – India as a fully Developed Nation in Amrit Kaal. No power on earth can stop India from becoming a 35 trillion-dollar economy by 2047. And as I see Gujarat alone will become a 3-trillion dollar economy” Mukesh Ambani said.
