Watch Video: Visually-impaired students celebrate Janmashtami at school; Gives inspiration to netizens

India is celebrating Janmashtami today. Several videos are going around the internet with people commemorating the birth of Lord Krishna. What caught the attention of all the videos is the heartwarming clip of visually-impaired children participating in the ‘Dahi Handi’ event. The viral video was shared by Harsh Goenka on Twitter.

Shared by Harsh Goenka, the now-viral video shows visually-impaired children hailing from Mumbai’s Victoria Memorial School for the Blind celebrating Janmashtami. The kids formed a pyramid standing on the other while a little boy can be seen slowly climbing it with the help of his teachers. He managed to reach the top and broke the clay pot that hung mid-air. Water poured down from it with people cheering in the background.

Harsh Goenka captioned the video, “On the occasion of #Janmashtami, this ‘Dahi handi’ is performed by the visually impaired children of Victoria Memorial School for the Blind, a school where my wife works.”

The video garnered more than 20k views after it was shared online. Netizens were inspired after watching the zeal of the visually-impaired children and their Janmashtami celebration.
