He took cooking lessons from his father and grandfather. Couple granted divorce by the court
Chef Kunal Kapur got married to Ekta in 2008. The couple also has a son. The couple was going through an ugly battle of accusing each other. Kunal Kapur allegedly blamed his wife for not respecting his parents and even humiliating him. On the other hand, his wife accused him of having an extra marital affair after becoming famous. She has also accused him of being a dishonest partner. Kunal alleged that his wife once entered inside the studio forcefully when he was shooting for Master Chef India, he had to ask security to handle the situation. The couple is finally granted divorce by the court.

Ekta Kapur is known and identified as Chef Kunal Kapur’s wife. According to reports, Kunal Kapur’s wife used to work during the initial years of their marriage but she quit her job without informing him. Kunal also joined Landmark Forum to resolve the differences in their marriage but she was always high on temper and used to behave in an inappropriate manner in public places. She even hit Kunal once in a fit of anger and that was captured on camera by his father. She even snatched the phone from him and called the cops. Both have been staying separately since 2015 and the son is with her. She doesn’t let her son talk to him or meet him.
