Who was Amir Sarfaraz Tamba, Indian Prisoner Sarabjeet Singh’s killer shot dead by bike-borne gunmen

He was also known as ‘Lahore ka asli Don’ by the locals of his area. Sarfaraz was involved in drug trafficking and Property business.

New Delhi: Amir Sarfaraz Tamba who was an accused in the killing of Indian Prisoner Sarabjeet Singh who was serving death row in Pakistan is shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Pakistan’s Lahore. According to reports, Amir Sarfaraz was gunned down by men in the Islampur area. He was rushed to the hospital but was declared brought dead. Sources also say that Sarfaraz was provided with all the facilities inside the jail. One senior jail official said that he had enemies inside the jail and most likely they are the ones who got him killed.

Who was Amir Sarfaraz Tamba ?  

Amir Sarfaraz Tamba was a close aide of Hafiz Saeed who was the founder of Let. He was released from jail two year ago and was living happily. Tamba was born in 1979 in Lahore. Reports also say that Hafeez applauded him for killing Sarabjeet Singh. He was also known as ‘Lahore ka asli Don’ by the locals of his area. Sarfaraz was involved in drug trafficking and Property business. He had a clash with one of the gang members Amir balaji Tipu recently but he was later murdered in Lahore.

About Sarabjeet Singh

Indian Prisoner Sarabjeet Singh died of cardiac arrest in Lahore. He was brutally attacked with iron rods and bricks by inmates from inside the jail. Sarabjeet Singh was accused of spying in Pakistan and was awarded a death sentence in 1991 but he died in 2013 after an attack by jail inmates. However his family maintained that he became a victim of a mistaken identity.
